Corporate history:

Gems & Company was established to showcase the extensive line of hand-crafted jewelry being marketed by Facets Incorporated. This company was established in 1965 and has mainly been involved in manufacture, import and wholesale distribution gold and silver jewelry, as well as wholesale distribution of diamonds. We have primarily been marketing our jewelry through mail order catalogs for over 15 years. Its award winning Museum of Jewelry catalog has a distribution of over 2 million copies a year.

Design Concepts: 

Most of our jewelry is designed in house by our own design team.  Majority of our designs are based on traditional historical designs normally seen in Museums all over the world.  We always maintain a higher esthetic level in our design concepts.  These timeless designs are all hand made using the same age old designing techniques.   Our unique designs has enabled us to have our jewelry shown on the cover of Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Glamour and other top fashion magazines.

Sourcing expertise:

We have been in the jewelry business for over 40 years and have developed an expertise in sourcing for diamonds, precious and semi precious stones, and identifying manufacturing facilities.

Our wholesale customer base includes Department stores like Nordstrom, Macy’s, Marshall Fields, and Dillard’s. Also Retail Jewelry stores, Boutique/ Specialty stores and Catalog companies. We have also developed a very loyal customer base some of whom have been buying our products for over 30 years.
